Denis Bulgin put together the first Kriya Yoga retreat in Siberia and asked for a landing page that turns interest into a booking. Three days of practice: August 7–9, 2026, at Kedrovaya Zaimka by a taiga lake near Tomsk, 27 km from the city (Aksyonovo village). The mentors come from YugANANDA in Tuapse.

In a project like this, tone matters most. A visitor should feel the silence of the taiga and the calm of the practice before they finish reading the schedule. Hence the deep-teal palette, Noto Serif headings, and gentle reveal-on-scroll. The page moves slowly, in step with the mood of the retreat.

The hero holds the essentials: dates, location, and two buttons — register or scroll down to the details. I moved Denis’s video message out of the hero into a separate block right after the story of the retreat: first you understand where you’re being invited, and only then you hear the host in person. After that come the mentors, a day-by-day program (arrival, a full day of practice, departure), accommodation, and meals.

I described the stay in detail: a comfortable cottage, a Russian banya, a sandy beach with a rowing boat, three home-cooked vegetarian meals a day. Galleries open full-screen, the route is shown on an interactive map, and form submissions go straight to the organizers’ inbox. A spot is reserved with a deposit, so I kept the form short: a name and a contact, nothing else.

It’s a non-commercial project: the cottage rental and meals are split evenly among everyone, so the page explains honestly what the price is made of and why it depends on the group size. The site is static, with no build step — served straight from hosting and loading instantly.
